Meet Jano Borian, a quarterstaff-wielding vigilante who roams the continent of Hazaorok in search of people to aid and wrongs to right. Many take one look at his thuggish countenance and dismiss him as a common criminal, though his shining armor suggests a nobler ancestry. Both would be wrong of his origin, however: he is an enigmatic—and arguably deluded—figure driven by his faith to a god which may or may not exist.

A treasure hunter armed with a one-of-a-kind map rallies a party to breach the long-hidden temple of an ancient empire: the mythical Unbroken Temple. During their first meeting, however, a gang of assassins led by a zealot named Karthurst makes an attempt on their lives and steals the map. In hot pursuit, Jano Borian must flee the city in a desperate bid to reach the Unbroken Temple before Karthurst’s machinations can be realized.
